At Malabar Riding School we welcome all riders.
The day commences with the children being welcomed and introduced to each other. Once fitted with helmets, they are escorted to the stables to meet their ponies/horses. A hands-on lecture & demonstration is provided on general safety, grooming, saddling and pony/horse management for kids.
In the saddle by 10am, the children enjoy a one and a half hour trail ride, taking in bush & coastal views under strict supervision of instructors. Returning to the stables for pony/horse care, followed by a lunch break. The children may also purchase drinks and snacks from the clubhouse.
Around 1.30pm, it’s back in the saddle for another trail ride, exploring other scenic trails. When riding is finished, the ponies and horses are unsaddled, groomed & prepared for the night.
What to Wear?
Long pants, suitably covered shoes or boots. Safety helmets are provided free of charge.
What to Bring?
A sun hat, block out cream, wet weather gear, a change of clothes in the event of rain and snacks. Children with extra dietary needs i.e.: vegetarians, kosher, etc., will need to bring their own lunch.
